2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Well, I've never really believed in resolutions. I think the end of the year is a time to reflect, see what went wrong, and look towards the next year, how to make it better. Not resolutions, promises that may not be kept. Things that you forget in a week.

2006 - year of learning
2006 was a really fruitful year, the year out of my 14 years of existence where I learnt most about myself, life & how. The year which has seen me grow in maturity to handle difficult circumstances. The year which I learned to lead projects which were stressful, but hey, we did well! There were many firsts this year and memories I will hold close to my heart. Beautiful friendships were formed, grew closer to certain people.
It was a year where I learned how to break out of my box, to change my perspectives. I learnt how to serve, how to put others first. I learned how to appreciate my life, seeing how fortunate I really am compared to others.
It has been a year where my faith has been tried and tested, and in the end, I know my God is a faithful God that never fails. Mission trip & being in strings prayer comm was really a turning point where I grew so much, the small sacrifices I made were worth it. And i'd like to thank my wonderful leaders PJ, Joachim, Jeanette, Randolf, Cheryl Tan, Crys, Caroline. You guys have really changed my life.
To all those who have been supporting me, thank you. I liked 2006, and friends, I hope you did too.
2007 -year of love
I want to start 2007 right! (: It's going to be another good year. I want to make a difference in people's lives, I want to make people feel appreciated and loved. I want to treasure those around me, especially my best friend. As I go into VJ, I want to be someone who inspires and cares.
I want to grow in every aspect of my life. In maturity, spiritually, wisdom, sensitivity. I want to know myself better this year. I don't want to look back at the end of this year and say, "Why did I waste 2007?" I want to make full use of every single moment, every single opportunity that comes my way. Carpe diem, seize the day. Change nothing into something. Push the limits of what I'm capable of doing, while enjoying myself. Use this year to bring me closer to my dream.
God will be at the center of it all, because He's the reason for living. I'm going to invest into my ministries. Because I know my efforts will bear fruits. 2007's going to be a challenging, fun, exciting, memorable and meaningful year. Hello 2007, i'm ready :D
TKGS people, I promise I'll come back this week or next to see you all, I miss you!
