After approximately a decade of not talking to Andrew after I moved to Singapore from Canada (Toronto, ON) , I found him again, first on Facebook then on Myspace. Hooray for finding someone who used to be my best friend in Unionville Montessori when I was four and five. I still remember his wonderful birthday party with the magician at the bowling alley. He apparently moved to Florida, and is an ice hockey player now. The best thing is, he remembers me :D
And such is the power of the internet.

It feels good to finally get my phone back to life after one plus weeks. My entertainment centre is back to life! Wore new shoes today. Asics. I shall put my Nike Dunks to retirement. They're really old and I treasure them a lot ( I bought them with my own money when i was 12) Count the number of years I've lived with them - to the point that my feet are getting too big to fit inside. My other pair of shoes has its soles coming out, but I think I can fix that with super glue (temporarily)
A certain bus driver made my day (:
Thank you uncle. He was friendly to everyone, so I wished him goodnight. Still proves that humans are nice. He's one of those people we take for granted. Shall blog more when I have the time.

Marks:
Bio: A1 82.1
Language Arts: A1 70
Higher Chinese: A2 67.4
Literature: B4 63.6
Physics: C6 54.6
Chem and Math are undecided yet - the IP heads will make the final decision because I was sick that day. Marks for this term reflections:
Biology - Good that I kept up my first position in the subject I love the most. Improved by 5-6 marks.
Language Arts - Good, improved. Though I can do even better (Stupid Essay Outline killed me)
Higher Chinese - Amazing improvement of almost ten marks. It's the first time I am not at the bottom of the class. So hooray for that, I'm starting to like Chinese better.
Literature - Dismal. But my poetry task's analysis was horrible. So yeah.
Physics - Worst subject. I'll go do consultations with Ms Cai soon. I have to. Deproved by around 3 marks.

It's September 11 again.
So many years on from that fateful day when terrorists crashed the planes in the World Trade Center. It's due to this, that people united as a country in 2002. They rallied behind the families who had lost their children, parents and more. The attacks, though they were evil, brought out the kinder side in everyone. Yes, the side that persevered, that loved, that cared. The side which demonstrated true courage, and sacrifice. All those firefighters, policemen who risked their lives just so that they could save one more. Human hearts, hands and minds fighting together for a common cause. That was a heart-warming picture, because nowadays, society tends to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily lives, leaving no time for people to think and appreciate those around them. In the midst of this calamity, you might be asking, where was God?
"When the WTC and Pentagon buildings went down, my God picked up almost 3,500 of His children and carried them to their home for all eternity. He also sat down and cried that 19 of His children could have so much hate in their hearts, that they did not choose him, but another god that doesn't exist, and now they are lost forever." as quoted from this site. Yes, the terrorists had so much hate towards the world. They might have been misled. They might have hurt too much. But then.. God loves them still. And He loves you, my friends.
A tribute to the lives lost. And a candle for those still in grief. I pray that God will comfort them and keep them safe. I trust that He will.
I'm pretty sure that this incident has been painful for some, but I'm sure that those who have survived will treasure their lives more. They might be humbled, they might see things in new perspectives. For time is only this long - You never know when someone close to you might go.
Live each day as if it is your last.
And a last note: Don't miss out on a chance to know Jesus.

So won't you break free, break free, get up and dance in His love.
Things are going to be hard. God be with me as I make this stand.

Went to the Believers Musical today, with mom and Aunty Sharon and their whole family. Was really good. They way they run things is different from Megalife, but I have to commend their storyline. Was well done, and their cast was good, despite their tiredness.
And Timothy, I'm proud of you. Yup you did well. It's the first time in a long while we've seen each other. You've been a great friend. Like since Kindy school. Oh your mom told me something that you used to say about me when you were young. Which I shall not post here for it will probably cause you a lot of embarrassment. You've been great company since you were four and I was five. Though somewhere along the line we lost touch, I'm glad you searched and found me. Ha! and I found your blog on Technorati. I think I went to your house last year or something to get some stuff from your mom, but maybe we were shy and didn't talk or something? Or you were busy.
Well, thank you for being here for me. Some things you say on msn really make my day, especially those times when I'm feeling down. I thank God for a friend like you =)

Spin is about mysterious DJ is sent to a busy city block to mend a series of tragic events that occur in our everyday lives. Winner of 35 film festival awards worldwide.
It's really creative and I like the way they used their sounds and synchronized it with the events that unfolded in a butterfly effect. I've watched this many times. Believe me, it's good!

This is a flash animation promoting a show in Japan. I don't know whether to call it cute or odd. You decide. The music is a bit irksome though.
Off to write my essay outline on:
Do you agree that it is necessary to have censorship in our contemporary society?
Yes I do agree.

I just found out that someone has been doing a bit of nasty things behind my back and I don't like it. I shall cut off connections and close up necessary loopholes. Thanks man.

This is what it means to be held
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive
This is what it is to be loved
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we’d be held
Natalie Grant - Held
Held in my Saviour's arms (:
Open your eyes and see
The wonder of a life
So wonderfully free
Lift up your head believe
There is more
There’s so much more to see
