I've had a sleepy and tiring weekend waking up at 630am to reach Raymond's house at 730am. I got totally knocked out when I got home just now and I slept, so I technically didn't manage to complete much work over the weekend. I'm taking a slack break now, though I should be doing some studying. But after a total of 3.5 hours at Math today, I just got to take a break! I wanna meet up with people this week! And urgh, there's PI draft to do still.

Hold Fast To The Break Of Daylight
I am extremely annoyed at my lack of ability to write well in the past few months. After spending slightly more than half an hour reading my archives, I am sad to say that the quality of my writing is going down the drain, so here I am, blogging again.
Strangely, the same thing is happening in school for my essays. I can't help but feel that GP is a highly dumbed down version of Language Arts, the subject that I miss very much. Content covered in a GP lesson is so little compared to what is covered in a Language Arts lesson. Though I qualified to take KI, I didn't. I think KI is fun to debate or think about during a boring bus ride, but critically think, and be graded for that doesn't go down too well with me. In a sense, GP is the lesser of two evils. I'm banking on an A for GP at the A levels and I'll work hard for it.
My close friend says sometimes, I overcommit, which means I take too many things into my hands and then realise I'm extremely busy. A good example is going to be my June Holidays. They haven't even started and I've got three camps lined up already.
The Key for my life this month is reorganise, reshuffle, rethink. But no matter how much of those I do, there are some things that just will remain constant. It's all about the people, the friendships & relationships that I will fight to keep, despite how busy I am. As well as the only constant amidst all the change - God.
In the past week, a lot of people close to me have been going through their own little crises. All I want to say to you all is that I'm always here if you need a listening ear, though I might not be the best person to give advice, I'll hear you out :) Hang in there, and come out strong.
On a side note, I visited the gym yesterday, for the first time in ages and I'm so glad my strength hasn't deproved as much as I expected it to.. Phew.

Welcome to Existence
What right do we have to judge others when we ourselves are imperfect?
Hmmmm, just pondering.
"how can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?"

How Long To Sing This Song
Happy birthday Duchess Melissa! Hahaha.
From Facebook:
1. I really, really don't like to use Singlish. I try my best to correct my English to make it perfect.
2. I had a happening life in Primary School. In Primary 6, I was a BUS MONITOR (Yes my school had such ridiculous posts!), Prefect and a House Captain.
3. I used to reach Secondary School at 6:40 in the morning just to use the class computer, since my mum only let me use the home computer on weekends.
4. Soccer was my life in Primary 5 & 6. Albeit on a smaller pitch. I used to play soccer every day before school, after school, during recess, with a bunch of crazy girls. But I don't really play anymore and I probably can't kick for nuts now. Oh I played goalkeeper and defense. (Was offered a place on VJ Girls' Soccer but nah, not my kind of thing to keep short hair and train like crazy).
5. I have friends from all over the world! From Czech Republic, Netherlands, Finland, Indonesia, Australia, UK, and USA. But the best of them all would probably be Joshy :) We knew each other when we were like 11.
6. I loved catching spiders when I was young. All the other girls would be screaming and I'd be there with a plastic container going "Gotcha!"
7. I currently have a bad habit of taking ages to reply text messages. Ooops sorry yes I know!
8. I love to travel. When I get the chance and the cash to, I'd like to go backpacking. I'd rather stay in Backpacker's Hostels than hotels for the interaction that I can get.
9. I like kayaking, cycling, climbing, gym, basketball, trekking, camping. I have a great set of abdominal muscles that can own weak guys any day! Hahaha, I average around 48 sit ups within a minute? Not bad huh.
10. Food is always good! I eat a lot, but I try my best to eat healthy, for the sake of my future. I try not to drink carbonated drinks when I can. And I can't remember the last time I held a bag of chips in my hands. If I'm bored, I buy food. I eat 2 times the amount an average girl eats. But strangely I never grow much bigger.
11. I love dogs. And Budgies. My two favourite animals. I have an "adopted" dog which I bring out for walks now and then. But he doesn't stay at my house.
12. I used to read Engadget everyday. To the point where I was so much more updated about IT news than Digital Life in the Straits Times! Yeah, what a geek, haha. My friends used to laugh at me about that.
13. Speaking of geekyness, I went to 3 out of 4 PC Shows last year and I am planning yet another one in March.
14. I don't understand why girls obsess over hot guys. I mean, get over it already! Hot guys aren't necessarily nice or fun.
15. I introduced a lot of people to this evil little thing called Facebook. It's not that evil, I love Facebook to bits.
16. Even though I'm in the Science Faculty now, I'm going to do the big switch to Arts & Social Sciences when I get to Uni. No point spending my life in a lab. Boring. On the cards are Psych, Politics and Sociology.
17. I am selectively extroverted. In some situations I just clam up and shut myself out (but that happens really rarely when I feel extremely threatened), but in most I am a happy little social butterfly.
18. I am an optimist and I was only sad for 2 days out of the whole of 2008. Almost always happy. Because I'm thankful enough for life as it is.
19. I secretly wish to be a motorcyclist. But the most important people in my life probably wouldn't let me, they don't want me to become roadkill. "Car bangs motorcycle, who dies?"
20. My favourite superhero is Batman. I've got comics from the 80's about Batman. Super cool I tell you. A movie sized poster from The Dark Knight is in my room. Also, I have a Dark Knight bobblehead. Thanks to my wonderful friend who knows how much I like Batman! Yeah and I'm going to watch it when it reruns in the cinemas later this month. Whoopee.
21. I enjoy exploring Singapore. You never know how many cool places there are until you step out and go visiting. Go to the Southern Ridges for a good walk, Farmart to buy things at the Farmer's Market, walk around during the F1 season when the CBD's roads are closed, go to Pulau Ubin (but don't fall down!)
22. I always feel older than my age. Why?
23. I need to read the newspapers everyday, even when I am overseas. I am such a nerd.
24. I'm still pretty much the same person that I was. ENFP, IS on the DISC tests.
25. I love my God :) He is the reason I do the things I do.

I've found a place
School starts tomorrow, and hopefully my next term is less busy, with fewer adjustments to be made. Few thoughts -
I want to go to the gym.
I want to play guitar.
I should blog more.

Only One
Through forgotten convictions
Misplaced affections
I'm losing the sound of Your voice
I've been chasing after emptiness
Trying to tidy up this mess
I swear I've been down this road before
I want to get back to where it all began
When I would long for only You
Like a child I'll take You at Your word
As these mountains of doubt, they fade away
I'm longing to trust and love You more
So for me this is beautiful
A brand new thought, and a brand new world
Can I stay here forever here with You?
I've lost sight of what first drew me
To the love that pursued me
The joy that inspired my song
The friendship that was all I knew
The arms that I would fall into
Seem miles and years from where I am today
I got to get back to where it all began
When I would wait for only You
Can I stay here forever
Here with you?
Surrounded by Your mercy
Clothed in Your truth
Always, I'll stay
Always here with You
Can I be here forever
Here with You?
Can I know what it's like
To deeply love You?
Always, Lord, let me stay
Always, here with You

Dont burn out
I'm using some of my time to type this out to record my life. It's been a busy week, and it's only going to get busier. On Tuesday after school Claire and I went out impromptu to Suntec, walked around for awhile, then took a bus back home. Thursday was Kelvin and Bao Fang's birthday, some of us went to Swensens to celebrate. Headed back home to bathe, returned to school at about 9pm and played Bluff at the Treehouse with S34. Watched people play badminton from 10-11plus in the hall, then the girls went to the bunks at V35 and attempted to do Biology practical. Ended up talking until 230am in the morning, fell asleep, woke up at 445am. It was BYOM (bring your own maggi) so we ate noodles for breakfast at 530am. Attempted to do Bio again, talked, went to run 1km for VOG (the last lap). The rest of our class came at 630am. VOG was a bit weird but ok I guess. DARE 2 briefing, took a bath before going to Suntec to meet laoren to go IT Show.
I've got tons of homework. And from now till school opens again, which is 9 days, I'm only spending 2 at home. That's why I'm doing my homework tonight.
Saturday
CTC Pre-Camp, meeting my group from 730am
Ta.oNanPri Pre-Camp till 1030pm
Sunday
Homework day!
Monday, Tuesday
PA Crew Camp
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
CTC Camp
Saturday
DARE 2, Megalife
Sunday
Homework Day!
Whoohoooo. The holidays are really daunting. Back to homework now for me. I hereby proclaim that this is the worst post I've ever written. Horrible English and sentence structure!
Despite being busy I'm happy though :) The people I'm doing what I do with make it all worthwhile.
